Besides being geographically proximate to one another, our five churches also share certain historical touch points. But, above all, we are united in Jesus Christ – “who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross” so as to demonstrate God’s perfect love for each of us (Hebrews 12:2). Thus, despite the many challenges of living in a broken, hurting, and confused world, we continue to find hope and solace in Jesus and in the saving power of His cross. In the words of the Carthusian monastic order, “the cross is steady while the world turns.”
